This policy explains what personal data techspares.eu collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What we collect and why
- Order data — name, delivery and billing address, e-mail, phone, items ordered. Needed to perform the sales contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Invoicing data — the above plus company name and VAT number for business buyers. Needed to comply with accounting and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Correspondence — what you write to us and our replies. Needed to answer you and to keep a record of what was agreed (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Technical data — server log entries such as IP address and request time, kept to run and secure the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.
Consumers and business customers
GDPR protects natural persons. A company as such has no personal data — but the people behind it do, and their names, work e-mail addresses and phone numbers are personal data. So the same rules below apply to a purchasing manager as to a private buyer, with two practical differences:
Consumers (private individuals)
- We collect only what an order needs: name, address, e-mail, phone.
- You may ask us to erase your data once the statutory retention period for invoices has passed.
Business customers (B2B)
- We additionally store the company name and VAT number, and we keep them for as long as tax law requires.
- Company registration data is public information and is not covered by your right of erasure; the contact person’s data is.
Who else sees it
Only those who need it to complete your order: our hosting provider, the carrier delivering your parcel, the payment service provider processing your payment, and our accountants. Each acts under a contract and may use the data only for that purpose. Where a parcel is shipped outside the EU at your request, the carrier receives the address needed for customs.
The cart, checkout and order confirmation pages load a script library (Select2) used by the Venipak delivery option from the public jsDelivr network (cdn.jsdelivr.net). To do so, your browser sends jsDelivr your IP address and basic browser information. No map service is loaded.
How long we keep it
- Order and invoicing records: 10 years, as required by Lithuanian accounting law.
- Correspondence not tied to an order: 2 years.
- Server logs: up to 12 months.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site sets only its own cookies, listed below. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics or tracking tools run on this site.
- pll_language — remembers which language version (English or Lithuanian) you last used. Set on every visit; expires after 1 year.
- wp_woocommerce_session_… — keeps your shopping cart while you move between pages. Set only when you add an item to the cart; expires after 2 days.
- woocommerce_items_in_cart and woocommerce_cart_hash — tell the site that your cart has items and whether it has changed. Set only while the cart has items; deleted when you close your browser.
The site also keeps a few technical values in your browser storage: a WordPress check of whether your browser can display emoji (for the current visit only); in the cart and at checkout, a security token and a note of whether you have edited the checkout form; and, if you choose delivery to a Venipak parcel locker, the delivery plugin may remember which locker you picked. These values are used only to make the cart and checkout work, not to track you.
Product view statistics. To understand which products are of interest, we count how many times each product page is viewed per day. This count uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and it does not record your IP address, browser details or any identifier — it keeps only anonymous totals, such as the number of views per product, day and language.
If we ever want to use analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before any such cookie is set. You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time; the shop will then simply forget your cart and your language choice.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or erase it, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable form. Write to info@techspares.eu and we will answer within one month. Erasure cannot override records we are legally required to keep, such as issued invoices.
If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, vdai.lrv.lt) or with the supervisory authority in your own country.
